EcoMAXX™ No Return Valves Meet Current National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Safety Requirements!
Are you investigating dust collection explosion protection systems for your factory, workshop, or other industrial facility? Remember: NFPA requires that an explosion isolation device be installed on all suction side ducts that transport material with a KST value above zero.
KST values are used to measure the speed at which pressure rises during a standard explosion severity test. By ensuring that your dust collection system exceeds NFPA safety requirements, you’re protecting your workers and your facility from injury and damage in the event of a baghouse or filter explosion.
An EcoMAXX™ No Return Valve is an integral SAFETY SMART component in any dust collection and combustible dust mitigation solution.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the lead time to ship orders?
Boss Products has a policy to ship all standard products from stock in no more than 6 weeks. Most No Return Valves and other explosion isolation devices ship within 1 day to 2 weeks after receipt of order. Inventory on-hand is always increasing to meet the growing demand.
Where are the No Return Valves made?
All No Return Valves are manufactured in Italy by our partners AirCom Srl. Boss Products is the exclusive North American importer and distributor for these products and primarily markets them under our EcoMAXX ™ tradename.
Are the No Return Valves NFPA compliant?
Yes! When purchased with the Control Panel, Microswitch and Dust Level Sensor. NFPA 69 (Standard for Explosion Prevention systems) 188.8.131.52. (Flow Actuated Flap Valve) sets design, performance and certification standards for the No Return Valve. It is important that you are familiar with NFPA 652, NFPA 654 and your industry or process specific guidelines such as NFPA 61, NFPA 91, NFPA 484 and/or NFPA 664. EcoMAXX™ No Return Valves are third party tested and certified ATEX en16447 and en15089.
What is ATEX Certification?
ATEX is a name commonly given to European Directives for controlling what equipment is allowed to be installed inside explosive atmospheres. Due to the critical and serious nature of explosion isolation devices, ATEX standards have been developed to insure minimum performance requirements are met. ATEX certification is proof that the equipment has met or exceeded the performance requirements set forth in the corresponding standard by an accredited unbiased 3rd party testing lab. NFPA 69 allows for No Return Valves (Flow Actuated Flap Valves) ATEX Certification to meet its 3rd party testing requirements.
